A letter to anyone interested in supporting a worthwhile local group!

Dear Sir / Madam
We are a small group of friends who, over the years, have raised many thousands of pounds for charity. Our 2009 appeal raised a magnificent £10,000 for The Stroke Association.
For 2010 we have chosen to support Wales Air Ambulance. Wales Air Ambulance is an all Wales charity providing a vital service through emergency air cover for those who face life-threatening illness or injuries.
With each mission on average costing £1200 the charity needs to raise over £5 million per year. Our energetic programme includes:
The Coast to Coast Hike (Second half approx 95 miles; ( having completed the first half in 2009)
20 mile walk Moel Famau to Penyffordd
16 miles Llanferres to Penyffordd
8 miles Treuddyn to Penyffordd
Yorkshire three peaks (26 miles)
30 mile cycle ride
130 mile cycle ride ( two days)
150 mile cycle ride (one day)
We need your help!
Any donation however large or small, ( by way of sponsorship or raffle prizes ), will be greatly appreciated.
This year we're aiming to hold a raffle/auction for prizes “money can't buy” and wondered if you'd be kind enough to donate an authenticated or autographed personal item such as clothing, book, photo, CD, DVD etc.
Thank-you for taking the time to read this letter.
Yours faithfully
Chris Jones ( on behalf of N.W.C.R. )
